Stating "from December of 1990 to January of 1993 I was in pretty constant touch with the British Conservative Party leadership, and I always felt we worked well together.
[6][7] This was considered a demotion and followed Mudenge's support for Jonathan Moyo in opposition to Joyce Mujuru within ZANU-PF.
