Stein, St. Gallen

Stein (German pronunciation: [ʃtaɪn] ⓘ) is a former municipality in the Wahlkreis (constituency) of Toggenburg in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

Of the rest of the land, 2.2% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (3.3%) is non-productive (rivers or lakes).

The Catholic church of St. Jacob was built in 1927-28, but the Rococo pulpit dates from 1770.
