Steve Williams (cornerback)

Steven Dwain Williams (born March 7, 1991) is a former American football cornerback.

He recorded 53 tackles, two interceptions and 10 pass breakups as a 2007 junior to earn second-team All-State and first-team All-District honors.

[2] On April 27, 2013, Williams was selected in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL draft by the San Diego Chargers.

On December 20, 2014 against the San Francisco 49ers, Williams replaced an injured Shareece Wright.

[citation needed] On September 27, 2015 against the Minnesota Vikings, Williams caught his first career interception from Teddy Bridgewater who was throwing towards the end zone.

[citation needed] On January 3, 2016, against the Denver Broncos, Williams recorded a sack, two forced fumbles, and an interception all in the same game.
