Stewartiella is a monotypic genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Apiaceae.
[2] According to Kew;[2] it only contains one known species, Stewartiella crucifolia (Gilli) Hedge & Lamond It is native to Afghanistan and Pakistan.
[2] The genus name of Stewartiella is in honour of Ralph Randles Stewart (1890–1993), an American botanist who spent his career teaching and studying plants in Pakistan.
[3] The Latin specific epithet of crucifolia is derived from 'cruciform' meaning tortured.
