Steyermarkia is a monotypic genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Rubiaceae.

[1] It only contains one known species, Steyermarkia guatemalensis Standl.

[3] The Latin specific epithet of guatemalensis means coming from Guatemala, where the plant was found.
