The relationship of this taxon to other taxa within the order is unknown (incertae sedis), and it has not yet been placed with certainty into any family.

Stilbella erythrocephala (Ditmar) Lindau 1900) has a cosmopolitan distribution and grows on herbivore dung.
It has pink or orange slimy conidia on white synnemata with phialidic conidiogenous cells.
