Stirling Castle (1801 ship)

She made one voyage from Calcutta to England for the British East India Company (EIC).

EIC voyage (1801-1802): Captain James Honeyman (or Honiman) sailed from Calcutta on 31 December 1801, bound for England.

[3] Fate: The French privateer Caroline, Captain Nicholas Surcouf, captured Stirling Castle in the Bay of Bengal on 19 October 1804 while Stirling Castle was on passage from Calcutta to Colombo,[5] with a cargo of rice.

They sailed Stirling Castle to Mauritius, arriving on 5 November.

[4] On 17 October 1805, Nicholas Surcouf and Caroline again encountered Sterling Castle.
