Stony Point, North Carolina

Stony Point is a census-designated place (CDP) in Alexander and Iredell counties in the U.S. state of North Carolina.

A Stony Point Post Office was established on February 17, 1826 in Iredell County, with James Thompson as postmaster.

There were 601 housing units at an average density of 201.4 per square mile (77.8/km2).
