Stratton, Colorado

Stratton is a statutory town in Kit Carson County, Colorado, United States.

[2] The population was 656 at the 2020 census.

[5] Stratton was named in honor of the gold miner and philanthropist Winfield Scott Stratton.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.3 km2), all of it land.

The community is served by Stratton Senior High School.
