Stratton, Vermont

Stratton is a town in Windham County, Vermont, United States.

The community of Stratton Mountain comprises the base of the resort as well as residential development to the north in the town of Winhall.

[4] Stratton was one of thirteen Vermont towns isolated by flooding caused by Hurricane Irene in 2011.

There were none of the families and 5.0% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and none of those over 64.

Between 1988 and 2004, the town did not vote for the same national party ticket two elections in a row, unique in the state.
