Streetsville GO Station

[1] Although ridership on the Milton line has grown beyond GO's expectations, it is not possible to run more trains because the tracks are already busy with Canadian Pacific Kansas City freight traffic.

[citation needed] In order to increase capacity, GO plans to extend the platforms to accommodate trains with twelve carriages rather than the current ten.

MiWay peak period service only The Credit Valley Railway built the station in 1879,[2] at the junction of the London and Orangeville branches (43°35′21″N 79°43′30″W / 43.58917°N 79.72500°W / 43.58917; -79.72500) of the railway,[3] just north of Britannia Road about two kilometres from the current GO Transit facility.

The original building was purchased by Ephraim Evans in 1914 and moved to its current location (43°35′03″N 79°43′09″W / 43.58417°N 79.71917°W / 43.58417; -79.71917) at 78 William Street.

Passenger train service was discontinued in 1961 and the building was used as a freight office until its demolition in 1982.
