Stripes (band)

Stripes is an American indie rock band from Tucson, Arizona that is based in Brooklyn, New York.

Stripes was formed in 2018 by Izzy MK after the dissolution of her debut Riot grrl band The Frecks.

[1][2] The group began playing shows at DIY venues and Club Congress in Tucson, Arizona.

Later that year also saw the release of the five-track EP, Harming on December 29 which included the single "Bleu", co-written and produced by Kevin Dickey of Pebble Napkins.

In 2024, after using Craigslist to find new bandmates, Riley Morgan, Mitchell Davis, and Austin "Chappie" Chappell, the reformed group released Running + Hiding, recorded by Ian Rose at Daisy Chain Studios.
