Suhas Subramanyam (born September 26, 1986)[1] is an American lawyer and politician serving as the U.S. representative from Virginia's 10th congressional district.
[6] In 2015, Subramanyam was appointed to serve as a White House technology policy advisor in the administration of President Barack Obama.
[13] Patron of HB528, which authorized the Virginia State Corporation Commission to refund $330 million to ratepayers from Dominion Energy over charges between 2017-2020.
[14] Subramanyam won a second term in the 2021 Virginia House of Delegates election, defeating Republican Gregory Moulthrop by double digits.
[17] In January 2024, he announced his candidacy for the United States House of Representatives in the 2024 election to succeed Jennifer Wexton of the 10th district.
