Susan Forsburg is an American microbiologist, researcher, author, and distinguished professor at the University of Southern California.
Her work primarily focuses on how chromosome duplication and maintenance affect genome stability, and using the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe as a model.
In 2000-2004 she also worked at The Salk Institute for Biological Studies as an Associate Professor.
