Svanvik, Finnmark

Svanvik (Norwegian) or Jouttenlahti (Northern Sami)[2] is a village in Sør-Varanger Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway.

It is located 40 km (25 mi) south of the town of Kirkenes and its on the north bank of Svanevatn, a lake in the Paatsjoki river basin.

The school is located approximately 2–3 kilometres (1.2–1.9 mi) north of Pasviktunet.

Like Skogfoss and Gjøkåsen, Svanvik is located by the Paatsjoki river.

The station bears the name of the village in which it is located and is part of the community.
