Svend Hamann (born 8 October 1940), is a Danish chess International Master (IM) (1965), Danish Chess Championship winner (1972).

In 1965, he was awarded the FIDE International Master (IM) title.

In 1971, in Hjørring he won silver medal in Danish Chess Championship.
