The Sweordora were an Anglian[a] tribe who, according to the Tribal Hidage,[b] lived in the vicinity of Sword Point, Whittlesey Mere, Cambridgeshire (formerly Huntingdonshire), probably in the 6th Century.
[1][c] Their endonym is a clear cognate of the Suiones[2] (also known as Swēon)[3] the Swedes.
