Sydney River is an unincorporated community in Cape Breton Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia, Canada.
This bridge had a makeover in 2012 and finished up in 2014, demolishing the famous green pillers which caused a uproar in the neighbouring communities [3] In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Sydney River had a population of 455 living in 170 of its 176 total private dwellings, a change of 24% from its 2016 population of 367.
