Syed Hasan Askari

Syed Hasan Askari (born 10 April 1901 – 28 November 1990)[1] was an Indian writer and historian.

[citation needed] Askari was presented the Ghalib Award in 1974 by Fakhruddin Ali Ahmad, then President of India.

[15] Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy presented the Maharshi Badrayan Vyas Samman to Askari, in 1978.

[citation needed] Gyani Zail Singh awarded Padma Shri to Askari in 1985.
