Szelment ([ˈʂɛlmɛnt]; Lithuanian: Šelmentas,[1]) is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Szypliszki, within Suwałki County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Lithuania.
