Wygorzel [vɨˈɡɔʐɛl] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szypliszki, within Suwałki County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Lithuania.
[2] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Szypliszki, 23 km (14 mi) north of Suwałki, and 130 km (81 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.
According to the 1921 census, the village had a population of 71, entirely Polish by nationality, 92.7% Roman Catholic and 7.3% Lutheran by confession.
