TI Invaders is a fixed shooter video game published by Texas Instruments in 1981 for the TI-99/4A home computer.
The game is a Space Invaders clone where the goal is to shoot all of the aliens before they reach the bottom of the screen.
The UFO travels slowly from one end of the screen to the other until it is hit for the first time, then it returns other way at twice its original speed.
Because the options, including the various screens, allow for a wide range of skills and because the level comes harder as you progress, the game has lasting value.
"[6] Dick Olney for Personal Computer World said "I long ago tired of this game in the arcades, but having such a good version in my living room did rekindle my interest.
Yawn ..."[8] In 1982, TI Invaders was listed as one of the top-selling computer games for the TI-99/4A along with Hunt the Wumpus.
