Tafunsak

Tafunsak (formerly transliterated as Tahfuhnsahk) is the largest settlement on the island of Kosrae in the Federated States of Micronesia.

[1] This includes Walung, which had been incorporated into the municipality of Tafunsak since the 1980s.

Tafunsak is the closest village by road to Kosrae Airport.

[2] Tafunsak has a tropical rainforest climate (Af) with very heavy rainfall year-round.
