Taguahelix elaiodes

(Original description) The turbinate shell is olive-green and shining.

The remaining whorls are irregularly, radiately, finely striate and substriate with about 10 striations per millim., the substriations are variable in number and extent, both directed backwards.

The outer lip is simple, the margins slightly converging.

The columella is vertical, reflexed above and slightly covers the umbilicus.

The base of the shell is rounded [2] This species is endemic to New Zealand and occurs on North Island
