Tajudeen Abbas GCON (born 1 October 1965) is a Nigerian academic and politician who is the 15th and current Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria since 2023.
[1][2][3] Abbas was born on 1 October 1965 in Kwarbai, Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria.
[1] He later obtained his doctorate degree in business administration from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.
[5] Abbas joined politics in 2010 where he contested for the House of Representatives seat in 2011 and won.
[1] Until his emergence as the Speaker, Abbas was the House Committee Chairman for Land Transport.
