Tanderagee railway station was opened on 6 January 1852.
It was originally named Madden Bridge Railway Station and was located on the Madden Road between the villages of Tandragee, County Armagh and Gilford, County Down, Northern Ireland.
[1] The Madden Bridge Railway Station served as a crucial transit point for numerous British and American soldiers en route to Tandragee and Gilford during World War II.
