Tang Renjian

He formerly serving as Chief of General Office of the Central Rural Work Leading Group and Governor of Gansu and before that, deputy director of the Office of the Leading Group for Financial and Economic Affairs, Vice Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

[1] In 2016, Tang returned to the Office of the Leading Group for Financial and Economic Affairs, became the deputy director.

[3] On 26 December 2020, Tang took office as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, succeeding Han Changfu.

[4] On 18 May 2024, Tang was suspected of "serious violations of laws and regulations" by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI), the party's internal disciplinary body, and the National Supervisory Commission, the highest anti-corruption agency of China.

[5] On 13 September 2024, he was removed as the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and was replaced Han Jun.
