Te Puna West

Te Puna West is a rural settlement in the Western Bay of Plenty District and Bay of Plenty Region of New Zealand's North Island.

The East Coast Main Trunk forms its southern boundary.

[3] Waitui Reserve is a grassy area with a boat ramp at the point of the headland.

[4] Te Puna West is described by Statistics New Zealand as a rural settlement, which covers 0.28 km2 (0.11 sq mi)[1] and had an estimated population of 350 as of June 2024,[2] with a population density of 1,250 people per km2.

[5] Before the 2023 census, the settlement had a larger boundary, covering 1.17 km2 (0.45 sq mi).
