Teaticket /ˈtiːˌtɪkɪt/ is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Falmouth, Massachusetts.
[2] Its name comes from The Wampanoag word "Tataket," which translates roughly and appropriately as "at the principal tidal stream.
South of 28, the CDP occupies a neck, bordered by Great Pond to the east and Little Pond to the west, that extends to Vineyard Sound.
[2] As of the census[6] of 2000, there were 1,907 people, 908 households, and 550 families residing in Teaticket.
34.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 18.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
