Teemu Huhtala (born April 4, 1991) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player.

He currently plays with the Tampereen Ilves team in SM-liiga, the Finnish elite league.

Nevertheless, he did not make his league debut that season, but he made his first senior appearance with the Mestis-team LeKi and in U20 Finnish national team, in which he scored one assist.

Huhtala made his league debut in the first game of 2011-2012 season against local rival Tappara and had ice time of 6.44 minutes.

In May 2012 Huhtala signed a one-year contract extension with Ilves, but it included a trial period until August, after which he did stay on the team.
