Eleuterio "Terry" Lavengco Adevoso, also known by his nom de guerre, "Terry Magtanggol" (February 20, 1922 – March 22, 1975) was a Filipino war hero famous for his role as leader[1][2][3] and co-founder of Hunters ROTC guerilla unit[4][5] during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines.
[6]: 206 [7] He was appointed as Secretary of Labor in 1954, under the term of President Ramon Magsaysay.
As a member of the opposition, Adevoso was arrested upon the declaration of Martial Law in September 1972.
He was only released in September 1974 after languishing in jail as a political prisoner for two years.
The third grandchild, Jenna Crystal Adevoso-Galang, was born in 1985.
