Thai Dai Van Nguyen[a][b] (born 12 December 2001) is a Czech chess grandmaster.

Best result - in 2019, in Bratislava, Nguyen won the European Youth Chess Championship in the O18 age group.

[citation needed] In 2025, Nguyen won the Challengers section of Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2025, tied with Azerbaijani grandmaster Aydin Suleymanli for the first place, but clutching the victory on the tiebreaks.
