The Sole One 2) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by Mohan Raja, produced by AGS Entertainment.
Mohan Raja officially announced the sequel to Thani Oruvan in August 2018, however, Ravi's prior commitments, including the Ponniyin Selvan film series, delayed the beginning for its production processes.
[1] On the third year since the release of Thani Oruvan, (28 August 2018); Raja announced that he and Ravi Mohan were going to work together on the sequel for the film.
[2] In November, Ravi stated that Raja was working on the script and had narrated him a one-liner of the story.
[10] Ravi and Nayanthara are reprising their role from the original film as ASP Mithran IPS and forensic specialist Mahima, respectively.
