Thembekile Kimi Makwetu (died 11 November 2020) was a South African Chartered accountant.
Makwetu was born in Cape Town, South Africa on 7 January 1966.
In 1989, he graduated with a degree in Social Sciences from the University of Cape Town.
After receiving a BCompt Honours degree from the University of Natal in 1997, he qualified as a chartered accountant.
