Thommankuthu (Malayalam: തൊമ്മന്കുത്ത്) is a waterfall located in Thodupuzha Thaluk, Idukki District, Kerala, India.
[2] The seven-step waterfall is situated in a forest in the southern part of Western Ghats mountain range.
The nearest towns are Karimannoor, Vannappuram and Udumbannoor, which are nearly 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from Thommankuthu.
The falls are positioned in a dense forest area, attracting nature enthusiasts and travelers.
According to folklore, a local man named Thomman drowned in the waterfall while attempting to cross the river.
