Thorunna kahuna is a species of sea slug, a dorid nudibranch, a shell-less marine gastropod mollusk in the family Chromodorididae.
This species is translucent pinkish-white with a magenta submarginal line on the mantle.
On the back foot it has two dark purple lines.
There are prominent, opaque-white mantle glands around the posterior margin of the mantle and, occasionally, in front of the rhinophores which help distinguish it from the very similar Thorunna daniellae.
[5] This species feeds on sponges of the genus Dysidea.
