Tina Eliassi-Rad is an American computer scientist and the inaugural President Joseph E. Aoun Professor[2] at Northeastern University.
Her research is at the intersection of artificial intelligence (namely, data mining and machine learning), network science, and applied ethics.
In 2023, she won the Lagrange Prize for her work on ethical approaches to artificial intelligence.
She returned to Wisconsin for her doctoral research, where she worked on intelligent agents.
[4] After graduating, Eliassi-Rad joined the research team at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
