Tom Root (born September 20, 1973) is an American writer, producer, director and voice actor for Robot Chicken.

While at CMU, Root edited the student newspaper CM Life.

[citation needed] Root was one of the original staffers of ToyFare magazine, and was a staff writer and copy editor for Wizard Entertainment's family of publications.

[4] Root and Robot Chicken co-creator Matthew Senreich created the Adult Swim series Titan Maximum which premiered on September 27, 2009.

Root also wrote The Simpsons' Robot Chicken-style animated opening in 2013.
