Tony Camacho

He was born in the Portuguese island of Madeira, and he emigrated to Canada in 1972 where he began refereeing at senior amateur level.

[1][2] In 1987, he began officiating at the professional level with the advent of the Canadian Soccer League.

[3][4] In 1992, he received his national referee's badge, and was assigned to the Canada Games in 1993, and 1997.

[3] Camacho also officiated a match between Portugal and Denmark League XI in the SkyDome Cup.

[3] He later worked in the Canadian Professional Soccer League, where he officiated in the 1999 CPSL Championship final.
