Tony Vincent (tennis)

Anthony DeVincenzo (September 17, 1925 – March 10, 2023), better known as Tony Vincent, was an American amateur tennis player.

Vincent twice finished runner-up in Monte Carlo on red clay, including 1954 when he lost a four-set final to Lorne Main, and in 1956 when he upset Lew Hoad in the quarter-finals.

[3] Princess Grace presented the trophies at the 1956 Monte Carlo championships for the first time following her marriage to Prince Rainier.

[4] In 1955,Vincent won the Cannes Beau Site Championships, part of the French Riviera tennis circuit, defeating Jean-Noël Grinda in the final.

Vincent continued to play senior's tennis and won the 35 years and over national title on multiple occasions.
