Tony Woods (American football)

Stanley Anthony Woods (born October 11, 1965) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker and defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Seattle Seahawks from 1987 to 1992, as well as the Los Angeles Rams and the Washington Redskins.

With one year of college eligibility remaining, he was selected 92nd by the Houston Gamblers in the 12th round of the 1986 USFL draft.

In 1993, he was cut by the Seahawks at the end of training camp and signed with the Los Angeles Rams, where he played for one season.

He was defensive coordinator on the first state football championship team at West Side High School in 2007.

He is currently an assistant coach at Seton Hall Prep in West Orange, where he attended high school.
