Townshend (Cornish: Penn an Dre Egloskrowenn) is a small village near Leedstown and Godolphin and the River Hayle, close to the towns of Penzance, Hayle, Helston and Camborne.

Cornish wrestling tournaments, for prizes, were held in Townshend.
