Towrang railway station

It originally opened as a platform on 19 May 1869, called Mannafields after a property of the same name.

The initial platform was later replaced by a new station to the north, in 1874.

[1] It was an active station with a siding to load local agricultural produce.

[3] Little evidence remains of the station, although two sets of points were later installed at the site to allow access to either track at times of track maintenance.
