[1] She worked as a writer and designer for Robert Abel's company Synapse, then was Creative Director at the interactive film studio Interfilm.
At Interfilm, she wrote and co-directed the "cinematic game" Ride for Your Life (1995), which starred Adam West and Matthew Lillard.
[2] After that film, she worked as a producer and creative director at the New York design firm R/GA Interactive.
In 2004, Fullerton joined the faculty at the University of Southern California, as an Assistant Professor in the School of Cinematic Arts, Interactive Media Division.
