Tropical cyclones in Indonesia

Climatologically, in the Australian basin, most tropical cyclones develop between November and April, or as early as October and as late as May.

However, there are some cases, like Typhoon Vamei and Cyclone Viyaru that affected the country, outside the basin.

This article includes all tropical cyclone of any intensity that affected the island nation of Indonesia, on all available records and data.

The region of Indonesia is not generally traversed by tropical cyclones although a lot of systems have historically formed there.
