Turbonilla amoena

Turbonilla amoena is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod in the family Pyramidellidae, the pyrams and their allies.

[1][2][3] This species occurs in the following locations:[1] (Original description of Odostomia brevicula, Jeffreys, 1883) The conical shell is solid, opaque, and glossy.

Under the microscope, the whole surface is covered lengthwise with very fine and close-set striae.

It contains four whorls (besides the bulbous and heterostrophe embryonic nucleus), compressed, and gradually enlarging.

The tooth is small and indistinct, tubercular, and placed on the upper part of the columella.
