The first official match on the renovated stadium was on 21 August 2011 between Sloboda and Partizan.
In front of 12,000 supporters, Sloboda recorded their first ever win over Partizan in that match, with a goal from Slavko Marić in the 93rd minute.
[1][2] On 6 September 2011, the Serbia U21s played against Faroe Islands in their 2013 UEFA European U21 Championship qualifying match and won 5–1.
It was Slavoljub Muslin's first game in charge as the head coach of the national team.
Serbia won the game 2–1 with the help of Aleksandar Mitrović and Dušan Tadić goals.
