Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) (Thai: มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี RTGS: Mahawitthayalai Ubon Ratchathani) was established as a campus of Khon Kaen University, Thailand, in 1987.

It gained independent university status in 1990.
