The Ulvich (Russian: Ульвич) is a river in Perm Krai, Russia, a right tributary of the Yayva.
[1] It is 72 kilometres (45 mi) long, and its drainage basin covers 401 square kilometres (155 sq mi).
[2] It starts on the west slope of the Kvarkush mountain range.
The most believable version of the origin of the river's name is that it is a composition of the words ‘ul’ (‘wet’ in Mansi language) and ‘vich’ (‘branch’ from Russian ‘vichka’), so it can be translated as ‘wet branch’.
