It has three campuses:[1] The institution was founded in 1978 as the Corporation School of Veterinary Medicine.
In 1983, the name was changed to the University of Agricultural Sciences Corporation (CUDCA).
In 1994, The Marketing Sciences program changed its name to Commercial Engineering.
New programs were introduced in veterinary medicine, animal science and geographic engineering specializations.
In 2005, it adopted the name of The University of Applied and Environmental Sciences (also UDCA).
